Red-Tailed Hawk
I’ve always wanted to take pictures of Raptors but it hadn’t happened until last Friday. I was working in the garden and noticed the hawk over on the wood pile in the pasture. I managed to grab my camera and get over to the fence to take the pictures below.

Projects for 2010
As the Billy Joel song says “you may be right, I may be crazy.” For 2010, I’ve got two 365 projects going. The first one is Garden 365 a year long that focuses on my garden and how it changes through time. And when I’m travelling to see family, I’ll focus on other people’s gardens. Project 365 – Sensible Sustainability stems out of my interest in gardening and living sustainably (which has been a huge part of my life this past year) and doing it so that fit your budget. Before I started this project, I didn’t think that Houston was that green. But I’m learning that there thriving community of people who are interested in sharing the very best that Houston has to offer. You can see the pieces for this project at sustainableinhouston.com.
